Idaho Access CardsWhat is the Idaho Access Card Program?Due to the problems created by Idaho's rising uninsured population, the State of Idaho has created several new programs to assist lower income families to provide health insurance coverage for themselves and their children. These new programs are:
As of July 7th 2004, families who's gross annual income is at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (see chart below), will potentially be eligible for the Chip-B and /or Children’s Access Card program benefits. The Access to Health Insurance Program is not slated to begin until July of 2005.

Once you have determined that you might be eligible for benefits under the Idaho Access Card program, the next step is to fill out the application for specialized Health Care and return it to the Semons Financial Group.
Semons Financial GroupYour completed application will be delivered to the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. Once you have been approved for benefits by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare you will receive from them a voucher. This voucher will them be sent to whichever insurance company you choose and your premium cost will be 100% offset by your Access Card or Access to Health Insurance Benefits.
